Okay... I know this looks weird. Trust me, I know. But it's a Tumblr thing. If you knew anything about Tumblr, you would know all about this picture. This is Doge, a Shiba Inu dog which somehow became popular and people decided to take the picture and add words onto it in comic sans. The words usually went along the lines of "Wow. Much fun. Such dog." It's weird. Trust me, I get it. Explaining Tumblr to an outsider is nearly impossible. It's surprising people haven't put every Tumblr user into an asylum yet. When I was writing this, Doge was on my mind because I was talking to Benito and Rachel and Julia about things we've seen on Tumblr and Doge came into conversation and I decided I'd write my haiku about Tumblr, and I'd use Doge pictures to help portray Tumblr in the way that it actually is, I guess you would say. I think this piece is weird and funny (and it was quite funny to us Tumblr users in the corner), but if I had the chance, I would redo this entire haiku and do it about something normal, like flowers and butterflies and other things like that. I honestly don't know what my strongest aspect of this piece is. This is more of a joke than anything. I mean, don't get me wrong, it is a haiku, and it is about something I like, which was the assignment. But it's not really serious like normal haikus are. I really don't have a favorite line either because, again, this is more me joking around than anything. I liked writing this though. Most of these, and all our other poems, came out really great, and mine is just for the "lulz."
